As part of the We Care, We Can Awareness Initiative, local businesses across Clarington are stepping up to show what it means to care for the future of healthcare in our community.

Parts 4 Less U Pull , the sister company of Dom's Auto Parts , has been championing the cause - donating every entry fee since May 1 to the We Care, We Can campaign. So far, they’ve raised an incredible $3,877 in support of the redevelopment of Bowmanville Hospital, and they’re not done yet.

Chris Kooy
A Lakeridge Health alumni and lifelong Bowmanville community member, Chris is a past Board Chair and devoted volunteer with deep roots in local healthcare.

Pankaj Panchal P.Eng., FEC, MBA, M.Sc., PMP
Senior Project Leader at Ontario Power Generation and Chair of the We Care, We Can Awareness Committee, Pankaj also leads Unity in Diversity, a community group dedicated to fostering inclusion and connection.

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church has been a cornerstone of community and care in Bowmanville since 1834. As they move into a new chapter, they’ve chosen to share proceeds from the sale of their historic church building with local charities, continuing a legacy of generosity that’s been nearly two centuries in the making.

We are incredibly honoured to receive a $75,000 donation from St. Andrew’s in support of the We Care, We Can campaign for the redevelopment of the Bowmanville Hospital. Their generosity will help build a stronger, healthier future for the people of Clarington.
