Is one of your goals for 2026 to spend less time in the bathroom? 🚽🎉

Start the year strong with these five urologist-approved resolutions designed to support a healthy urinary tract.

1️⃣ Stay Well Hydrated Every Day
Make drinking water a daily habit. Proper hydration helps prevent kidney stones, urinary tract infections and bladder irritation. Aim for pale-yellow urine as a simple hydration check.

2️⃣ Don’t Ignore Urinary Changes
Pay attention to symptoms such as frequent urination, a weak stream, pain, blood in the urine or nighttime urgency. Early evaluation can prevent small issues from becoming bigger problems.

3️⃣ Prioritize Preventive Screenings
Schedule regular checkups based on your age and risk factors—such as prostate screenings, testicular self-exams, or kidney health assessments. Prevention and early detection are key to long-term urologic health.

4️⃣ Support Bladder Health Through Lifestyle Choices
Limit bladder irritants like excessive caffeine, alcohol, and spicy foods. Maintain a healthy weight and stay physically active to reduce pressure on the bladder and pelvic floor.

5️⃣ Talk Openly About Urologic Health
Make 2026 the year you ask questions and have honest conversations with your healthcare provider about sexual health, incontinence, or other urologic concerns. There are effective treatments available, and no issue is too small to discuss.

Thank you for the amazing review! 🙌 We always take the time to answer any questions and discuss any concerns, especially during your EMSELLA consultation and first appointment. When it comes to your health and wellness, you deserve to be well-informed and at ease.

“I was introduced to this clinic at a local health forum. Meeting the staff during that time was a very pleasant introduction.

Coming into the clinic for my first appointment, I was again met by extremely caring technicians. I immediately felt that I was well taken care of and that everything was explained perfectly. Never once was I rushed! The procedure helped with nighttime as well as day-to-day urgency. Thank you so very much for bringing back uninterrupted sleep.” - I & S

When temperatures drop, it’s easy to reach for a robust red, extra sweet treats or a cozy coffee to warm up, but your bladder may feel the effects. In colder months, these common comforts tend to show up more often in our routines, and many of them can act as bladder irritants.🍷🍫☕️

At the same time, some winter habits can lead to more concentrated urine, which makes the bladder lining more sensitive. When that happens, irritants like caffeine, alcohol, artificial sweeteners and excess sugar can trigger stronger signals—such as urgency, frequency, or discomfort—than they might at other times of year.

Being mindful of how often these irritants show up in your diet, and balancing them with gentler choices, can help reduce bladder irritation and keep your urologic system feeling calmer and more comfortable throughout the winter season. ❄️

Earlier this month, we talked about the risk factors for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Now, let’s talk about some of the symptoms you may experience with BPH. 👆

BPH symptoms can be divided into common and less common, and further subdivided into those caused by urethral obstruction and those caused by secondary changes in the bladder. The size of the prostate enlargement doesn’t always determine how severe the symptoms are. Some people with slightly enlarged prostates can have major symptoms. Others who have very enlarged prostates can have minor problems. And some people with enlarged prostates don’t have any symptoms at all.

The symptoms of BPH tend to slowly get worse with time, but can improve with lifestyle changes, medication or other treatments. If you’re experiencing any of the symptoms in the video above, talk to your doctor about testing for benign prostatic hyperplasia!

After your EMSELLA Chair therapy session, supporting your results starts with simple self-care. ✨

Stay well-hydrated and give your body a chance to settle—light activities are perfectly fine, but we recommend avoiding intense workouts immediately afterward. There’s no downtime, so you can comfortably continue your day. Just be mindful and listen to what your body needs.

To maintain strong pelvic floor muscles long-term, periodic maintenance sessions are encouraged once you’ve completed your series of treatments. Consistency is key to lasting results and continued confidence. 💪

Winter brings colder temperatures, heavier clothing and changes in our daily routines, all of which can impact urological health. ❄️

Practicing good hygiene during the winter months is essential for preventing urinary tract infections, irritation and other discomforts. Staying clean and dry, changing out of damp clothes quickly and maintaining proper hydration all support a healthier urinary system. Even simple habits like regular handwashing and wearing breathable layers can reduce the spread of bacteria that lead to infections.

This season, prioritize urological wellness by maintaining consistent hygiene and mindful self-care. Your urinary health deserves attention all year long, but especially in the winter.

Have you ever wondered what an EMSELLA Chair therapy session feels like? 🤔 We’re here to let you know exactly what you’re in for when you book an EMSELLA session!

First and foremost, it does not hurt! There is no heat, no vibration and no pressure; it’s a unique feeling, but not painful or invasive.

First, you will feel light tapping motions to help you get situated in the chair in the correct position. Once you perfect your form, we will begin your treatment, during which you will experience the EMSELLA Chair at its full capacity. The sensation can be described as similar to the feeling of engaging your core before you begin exercising, or as targeted muscle flexing. The intensity cycles between light and moderate, allowing patients to settle in and relax, read or scroll their phones while the device works.

This treatment is urologist-recommended and highly effective at strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, which support the internal organs and allow for more confidence and control in your bladder!

✨ Book a FREE consultation to experience it for yourself!
