Today marked the last day of school before March Break for many of our clients and children in the Burlington and Barrie areas served by Family First!

✨ School breaks can be challenging for many children as they adjust to changes in routine. As a result, families and caregivers might notice their children displaying an increase of big feelings and difficult behaviour.

✨ If a family is travelling, anxiety of the unknown in addition the changes in routine brought on by vacation can cause similar disregulation in young children.

✨ Setting time for self-care whether at home or travelling can be helpful in soothing a child having a difficult moment.
