As I’m meeting more and more clients, I’m hearing what services you’re looking for in your RMT. That’s why I signed up for a few courses. TMJ - (jaw and mouth) this will be at the end of May. cupping and Indie Head Massage. I’ll post when they’re available to book, keep an eye out.

Nominated and voted this years People’s Choice Award winner. This one is going to take some time to process. I was up against SUCH incredible local businesses. I was nominated for 4 awards total tonight, and when the 1st 3 came and went, I was ready for a shut out. But then THIS! The ONLY award based on votes. To my clients, friends and family. well this is a post I didn't think I'd ever be making, but with advances in technology, here we are. If I suspect that your glasses have the ability to record (camera lenses on the front of the glasses) I will kindly ask you to remove them. If you require them to see, you will be asked if you have a secondary pair. Meta glasses or active recordings are not permitted in my treatment space just as I wouldn't record you without your consent. I would expect the same respect. My treatment room is space where privacy is strongly respected and upheld. That should go both ways.

If a client refuses to remove the glasses (even if not recording) treatment will be declined and you will incur a no show fee at full price. This will be added into my health history forms and an updated consent will be sent out to existing clients.

I often hear from clients trying to book in that they can't find the appointment time they prefer on my only evening shift. The best way to ensure you get the times you prefer, is pre-booking months in advance. However, when that can't always be the case, what I suggest to clients DAILY is to either put yourself on my waitlist in Jane for the days you would like to get in for, or let me know which days and I can do it for you.

Yes, my clients are great at pre-booking months in advance (some already for the rest of the year!) but as we know, life can throw things at us from time to time and they are unable to make a pre-booked appt here and there (I always do my best to try to get that client in that same week somehow).

WHEN these cancellations happen (which is often!) my booking system will automatically notify those that are on my waitlist for that day or I sometimes open up a Wednesday evening or a weekend. Once you receive that notification though and you would like that appointment, I suggest booking it right way because if there are other people on the waitlist, it goes out to everyone at the same time.

This is your easier and fastest way of being notified of any of my openings or cancellations and hopefully will help to get more clients in at times that are in high demand.

I have always been grateful for my birthday and to have made it another year. When I turned 40, that was a tough one for me but I had to have a mind shift in my perspective. Ever since, I have taken the week of my birthday off ( my boss is prrrreeettyy cool about it 😉 lol ) and I book myself some self care with a bunch of our local gems . Life is too short to not slow down sometimes and just truly be grateful for the lives we have. I wanted others to feel extra special on their birthdays as well as help promote some local business that I personally use regularly. A few of these are new start ups by moms in our community that have launched their own candles, or extended their business into making their own skin care and some are already strong staples that we know and love. Take the day, and spend it with me at River Revival Massage and leave with a few gifts from local female owned and operated businesses that may become your favourite, as they have mine.

This client knows there are specific days and times that work for her busy work and home life, she wanted to be sure to lock in those days and times, so she booked in advance. The next day, similar emails with clients booking into February. I only work 1 evening a week and maybe 1 weekend a month. If those work best for you, lock them in in advance, especially as we go into our busiest season. I’ll start seeing clients that over did the lead raking, shovelling snow, slipping on ice, thinking they can do the park at Snow Valley lol PLUS people frantically realizing they have a ton of benefits to use up. Do yourself a favour, and book in advance!
