Last weekend, one of Aura’s teachers, Anna-Lisa, suffered a tragic, unthinkable, unimaginable and unbearable loss. Together, as a community, we are here to support her as she navigates the death of her Son, King.
King was just 27 years old, the light of Anna-Lisa’s life ... and the fatality he has come to has brought her life to a shocking and debilitating place.
In addition to the loss of King, Anna-Lisa has been displaced from her home, and is now faced with the need to find shelter for her, her elderly mother, and their cat.
There is often a feeling of helplessness that comes when you see someone suffering the way Anna-Lisa is now. What we can do together, is ease the financial hardship of hotel and food expenses, funeral expenses, and what it will take to carry Anna-Lisa during this time of grief.
