At Queen Square, we’re helping patients stay active, independent, and safe with medication reviews, balance & strength support, home safety guidance, and culturally appropriate resources.

Quick tips you can act on today:
🕯️ Use night lights and keep pathways clear
🧍‍♂️ Stand up slowly, especially after meals or meds
👟 Choose supportive, well-fitting shoes (indoors too)
🚰 Keep a water bottle handy—hydration matters
🧘‍♂️ Join local, low-cost balance classes

🩷 If you or a loved one has had a recent fall, near-fall, or new dizziness, book with your doctor.

This week, we celebrate our Nurse Practitioners who expand access to timely, culturally safe primary care at Queen Square.

What our NPs do every day:
♾️ Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and prescribing
🧓 Provide compassionate care to older adults and patients who need palliative care
⚧️ Provide safe and affirming care to transgender and non-binary patients
🩺 Manage chronic conditions and mental health interventions
🎗️ Offer preventive care: screening, immunizations, health education
🧪 Order labs/imaging and coordinate specialist referrals
🏥 Partner with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and social workers to deliver team-based care

🙏 Thank you to our amazing NP team: Amandeep, Seana, Erin, Kristina, and all the new NPs joining our expanding team.
