After our weekend storm we thought we would go over some tips to stay safe while shoveling…❄️
1️⃣ Choose the right tool: Use a lightweight, ergonomic shovel to reduce strain on your back.
2️⃣ Warm up first: A few stretches can prevent injuries before you start.
3️⃣ Use proper technique: Push snow instead of lifting when possible, and bend your knees—not your back—when you do lift.
4️⃣ Take breaks: Shoveling is hard work! Listen to your body and rest when needed.
🚨 If you’re feeling pain, stop and don’t push through. Injuries can sneak up on you!
