When Lizzy was born more than three months early, the only thing the hospital told their family was that Lizzy would be hard of hearing.

Around the age of three, Lizzy was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, which meant accessing various supports and services from ErinoakKids, including auditory verbal therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and Botox injections.

Today, as Lizzy embarks on an exciting future in microbiology, their experiences at ErinoakKids have laid a strong and loving foundation for a lifetime of achievement and belonging!

Peel Inclusion Resource Services (PIRS) is a partnership between special needs resourcing programs and licensed child care providers.

The ErinoakKids PIRS staff are Resource Consultants who work with families and child care program staff to set goals and provide resources to support your child before they start school.

The CARES program is designed to help you navigate your journey as a caregiver and prioritize your mental health and well-being.

💙 8 weekly sessions starting Wednesday, Oct 8, 5:45-7:15 p.m.
💙 In person at our Mississauga location
💙 Must be a parent/caregiver of an active ErinoakKids client
💙 Commitment to attend at least 80% of sessions
💙 Active participation during sessions is required to maximize the benefits of the CARES program
