A Monumental Moment for Our Community 💛

We are deeply grateful to Mayor Patrick Brown, Councillor Navjit Kaur Brar, Councillor Paul Vicente, and Councillor Gurpartap Singh Toor for their incredible support during our signing ceremony at Brampton City Hall.

This milestone brings us one step closer to creating Brampton’s first-ever hospice residence — a warm, home-like setting where individuals and families can find comfort, compassion, and dignity during life’s final journey.

Thank you to our valuable partners — William Osler Health System, Toronto Metropolitan University, Ontario Health, and Hospice Palliative Care Ontario — as well as all of our contributors to date, for believing in the vision of Kay Blair Hospice. On September 27, our first Legacy of Love Gala raised $250,000 to bring Brampton’s first-ever hospice closer to reality! 💛 A transformative $100,000 gift from Tire World Inc. set the tone for an unforgettable evening.

Held at Terrace on the Green, the gala featured inspiring speeches, entertainment, and a special announcement from Mayor Patrick Brown celebrating the donation of 1.7 acres of land for the new 12-bed hospice.

Our star performer Manpreet Kaur shares her heartfelt story of caring for her terminally ill father—without access to a hospice in Brampton. Her powerful testimony is a reminder of why our community urgently needs compassionate, end-of-life care close to home.
