November is Men’s Mental Health Month🧠💙🥸

Men face unique challenges when it comes to their mental health. Men’s mental health is a topic that I rarely see being talked about, especially within a male dominated friendship, groups, career. I believe it’s time to change the narrative. We need to let go of the stereotypes and gender roles we place on emotions and thought patterns. We need to create more awareness, validate, and psychoeducate individuals about men’s health.

Despite experiencing high rates of depression and anxiety, substance use, behavioural issues, stress, burn out, societal expectations, stigma, and lack of representation in therapy often prevents men from seeking the support they need.

Did you know 3 out of 4 deaths by su***de in Canada are men, this highlights the urgency of addressing these barriers🇨🇦🍁
