Join us tonight at Q***r Minds🏳️‍🌈!

Q***r Minds is a closed social space for individuals who identify as Two-Spirit, Le***an, Gay Bisexual, Trans, Q***r etc... In collaboration between Moyo Health & Community Services and the Canadian Mental Health Association.

Group takes place every Wednesday from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Q***r Minds is a group for individuals aged 16+ to connect with community and gain knowledge and support on various 2SLGBTQ+ topics/issues.

Last week, our community lost a bright light. Dr. Michael Fanous was a community leader, an advocate, educator and a trailblazer.

In 2018, Michael founded MedsExpert, Ontario’s first gay-owned pharmacy focused on the health and wellbeing of the 2SLGBTQIA+/HIV community. Michael personally helped countless individuals access PrEP, HIV treatments and other sexual health services, including many of us living here in Peel. 

As a former resident of Peel, Michael had a soft spot for our agency, clients, and staff.  We deeply appreciated their care and support for our community and we feel their loss greatly.

We are indebted to Michael. Moyo Health & Community Services offer our deepest condolences to Michaels family, colleagues, friends, and to the communities impacted by his sudden passing.

A Celebration of Life will be held in late September to honour Michael’s legacy.
