In 2025, the stores she’s worked at have redirected over 150,000 lbs of food back into the community through partnerships with Second Harvest and Food Banks Canada, supporting families and the communities they serve.

With a strong people-first mindset, Harleen is committed to making a difference both in-store and beyond.

Her story is a reminder that retail isn’t just about operations, it’s a place where you can grow, lead, and make a real impact for the community around you.

From essential supplies to critical support, we’re committed to helping our communities access what they need, when they need it.

Through our partnership with GlobalMedic, we’re proud to play a small role in strengthening emergency response and preparedness across Newfoundland and Labrador. This collaboration provided local fire departments with access to much-needed fire skid units.

Our Mount Pearl Distribution Centre served as the central hub for receiving, staging, and distributing the critical equipment.

It’s moments like these that remind us what it means to be Canadian - showing up for one another when it matters most.

Qu’il s’agisse de fournitures indispensables ou d’un soutien essential, nous nous engageons d’aider nos communautés à avoir accès ce dont elles ont besoin, au moment voulu.

Par l’intermédiaire de notre partenariat avec GlobalMedic, nous sommes fiers de jouer un modeste rôle dans le renforcement d’intervention et de préparation aux situations d’urgence au travers à Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador. Cette collaboration a permis aux services d’incendie locaux d’avoir accès à des engins spécialisés de lutte contre les incendies fort nécessaires.

Notre centre de distribution à Mount Pearl a servi de point central pour la réception, l’organisation et la distribution de matériel essentiel de toute la province.

Ce sont des moments comme ceux-ci qui nous rappellent ce qui signifie d’être Canadien - se rallier et se serrer les coudes au moment le plus important.
