What would Trump do?

Mark Cuban, billionaire entrepreneur and Shark Tank investor, has a strong track record of sharing his business success with employees—not just top executives. In a viral 2024 post on X, he revealed that in every company he sold, he gave high-paying cash bonuses to team members who had worked there for over a year. When he sold MicroSolutions for $6 million, he gave 20% of the deal—about ₹12 lakh each if split evenly—to 80 staff. His landmark deal, the $5.7 billion sale of Broadcast.com to Yahoo, made 91% of his employees millionaires. He repeated this approach with HDNet and again in 2023, when he sold his majority stake in the Dallas Mavericks, gifting over $35 million in direct cash to loyal employees. Cuban doesn’t believe in vague equity or stock options—he rewards in real money because he believes "no company is built alone." His story is a masterclass in employee appreciation, business ethics, and smart leadership.
