                                            Great day of apple picking ! Hit a lot of lifestyle pillars now that I look back :)
* Nature:Outdoors- reduces stress cortisol levels 
*Sunlight- great source of Vitamin D. The active form of Vitamin D is the most powerful antioxidant in your body reducing chance of cancer and autoimmune diseases. Northern climates have higher rates of Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatism, and certain cancers.
*Social engagement- it was nice to spend time with family friends  in a positive setting. This decreases stress cortisol levels.
*Whole food plant based - Apples like other fruits , veggies, legumes are high in water weight, fiber, vitamins. It’s interesting how majority of the planet is water, majority of the human body is water and so are majority of fruits, veggies and legumes. This diet is meant for us and is in synergy with life. Everyday I see my patients lose weight, reduce BP, reduce cholesterol, get better sleep and mobility through eating this way !
*Walking- just 150 mins of moderate intensity exercise a week can reduce your chance of chronic disease 
One day of apple picking accomplished all of these things!
