Children thrive with personalized education.
The traditional approach often forces students into a “one-size-fits-all” learning mold. When children don’t meet those rigid, predetermined standards, their potential is often underestimated or expectations of their capabilities are prematurely lowered.
At RFS, we believe the opposite is true. We focus on identifying what truly works for each child and then adapting our teaching strategies to meet their individual needs, thereby maximizing their learning opportunities. Is your child having a hard time speaking with clarity?

Here are three simple tips to help your child with speech clarity:

1. Use a Mirror:

Stand in front of a mirror with your child. As you say a word, show them how your lips move to make different sounds. This gives them a clear, visual guide for their own mouth.

2. Slow Down:
Try slowing down your rate of speech just a bit. This gives your child more time to process your words and provides a clear model for them to follow.

3. Gently Recast: When your child says a word incorrectly, don’t make them repeat it. Instead, simply repeat the word back to them correctly in a natural way. For example, if they say, “Look at the tat,” you can respond, “Oh, you see the cat?” It’s a low-pressure way to model the right sound.
