The Village of Sandalwood Park is the home to 120 Residents in Brampton, Located on Greatlakes Dr, Celebrate life at the village through our posts.

Our mission is to provide holistic health care in a
home environment, located within an internal
neighbourhood design that promotes a caring community,
with emphasis on optimal health and life purpose
for each Resident.

King and Queen??? Last night was a great night !! Prom night !! Good company, yummy treats and great music!!

Today was an amazing day! Donna and her two daughters got to spend the day going down memory lane.. we went for a drive. Donna got to see the houses she grew up in, raised her family in, the grocery store she worked at for many years! They visited her parent’s grave site where they shared their prayers and left some flowers. As well as a lovely lunch at snugharbourrestaurant. schlegelvillage.

Another amazing day!! Went to Buckingham palace this morning .. Cumberland hotel where Doug worked for many years! Then he got an awesome surprise of his grandson and his family from Germany came to meet up with him !! he spent the rest of the afternoon with his family Schlegel Villages greenbenchstory

Yesterday we had a great time at chinguacousypark citybrampton, seen the gardens, animals at the petting zoo, enjoyed slushies form the snack bar, even ran through the splash pad as we laughed with the kids at the park!! Was a great day

The heat was on!! But we had a great classic car show and bbq! They turn out was great with over 20 cars. The residents, families, team members and Car Show enthusiast from the community spent Wednesday evening, enjoying checking out the cars and spending time with great people!!

Always a great time cheering on the jays!! We had a great time even tho they lost!! We will be back August 14th to cheer them on again… Toronto Blue Jays. Go jays go! schlegelvillage

The Village of Sandalwood Park brought the Green Bench to City of Brampton’s Garden Square for a beautiful spring afternoon of conversation, connection, and community.

Residents Doug and Donna shared stories and laughter with a variety of visitors—including members of the Brampton Fire Department, local students, a mother and daughter with their dog Piper, a future Village volunteer, a local car dealership team, and Councillor Gurpartap Singh Toor.

Topics ranged from figure skating and first cars to podcasting, travel, and staying positive as we age.

Their advice?
💬 “Don’t go looking for trouble.” – Doug
💬 “Always be kind.” – Donna

The visit ended with fish and chips at Tracks Brew Pub and plenty more great conversation.

A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer from Sandalwood Park for coordinating, to Amy for supporting the day, and to the community for helping to celebrate and combat , one conversation at a time.
