As of May 10th medical masks are no longer mandatory for asymptomatic patients or employees at Southbridge Medical Clinic. We are a “Mask Friendly” clinic and medical masks will continue to be available for patients and visitors at the reception desk.

Ladies, there are only a select number of spots remaining for the upcoming pap clinic with Dr. Jenna Shirley at Southbridge Medical Clinic in Brandon, MB. As per CancerCare Manitoba's recommendations, women who have had sexual contact between ages 21-69 should undergo a pap test every 3 years.

The clinic is scheduled for Monday, April 17th, and appointments can be scheduled by calling 204-728-3080. You do not need to be a patient of the clinic to book. Call now to secure your spot!

Southbridge Medical Clinic is excited to announce the upcoming arrival of Dr. Jenna Shirley MD FRCSC.

Dr. Shirley will be accepting referrals in obstetrics and gynecology starting Fall 2022.

"After growing up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Dr. Shirley completed an Undergraduate Degree with a Bachelor of Science at the University of Saskatchewan. Following her undergraduate degree Dr. Shirley earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, with training based out of Regina, Saskatchewan. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Shirley specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology with the University of Manitoba residency program.

Dr. Shirley provides surgical and emergency services in gynecology and obstetrics at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, as well as routine obstetrical care on the maternity unit. In the clinic setting, Dr. Shirley provides general gynecology services including minor procedures such as IUD insertion. Dr. Shirley’s clinic care includes both low and high-risk obstetrics. Areas of special interest include adolescent gynecology, contraception, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and colposcopy."

You do not need to be a patient at Southbridge Medical Clinic to make an appointment. Many women (including LGBTQ2S+) avoid regular cervical cancer screening. This pap test clinic will be run by our female physicians to help reduce barriers to your health.
