Our sweet handsome little boy is currently in Winnipeg in NICU - but we're so happy to share he's doing better every single day & we hope to be able to take him back home to Brandon soon! Even though he showed up quite early and very unexpectedly.. he's healthy, happy and sooo sooo loved.

On a personal note..
It's been a very wild adventure for us - creating him & bringing him into this world as a type 1 diabetic with hyperemesis gravidarum, having an appendix surgery, and being in the hospital almost every week with different health scares - but i'm happy to report I myself am doing good as well and continuing to heal everyday! Daddy Keith is also a natural pro at being a father and is loving his new role as Becketts dad. He's been the most wonderful caregiver to not only Beckett but to me as well throughout this entire pregnancy and everyday post partum, I could not have asked for a better partner.

We are so grateful for our families and our friends for helping us & loving us through everything we've been through, thank you so much, we love you so much.

As for DOLLHOUSE.. i'm not too sure what this means just quite yet- I won't be doing services for a little while here. If you have any questions, wondering about your gift cards, curious about anything please let me know! It may take me a little while to respond but I will try my best!!

I've been seeing lots of new people on here recently so I thought I'd reintroduce myself🫢

Hi, i'm Shayla! I have been in the beauty industry for over 5 years now, starting DOLLHOUSE beauty boutique in 2020 (originally in Russell, Manitoba but moved back to Brandon!)

I've always loved making people feel beautiful and confident for as long as I can remember .. i always found that even a simple compliment to a stranger can completely change their day and mine ... so why not make that feeling my job!!?? I LOVE making people feel their absolute best. I LOVE pampering people. I LOVE meeting and becoming friends with people. This is truly my dream job😭💗💗

A few things about me??

- I'm a type 1 diabetic , I was diagnosed in 2019!💉
- I am an animal lover - my boyfriend and I have two cats - Bear & Remi🐾
- I am a homebody.. but don't get me wrong I love going out with my people on occasion too!! 🤪
- I am recently learning to golf.. it's going poorly but I'm enjoying every minute! ⛳️
- I love all kinds of music from country to rock 🤘🏼

✨ Why do white spots on your teeth look more noticeable after whitening? Let’s talk about it! 🦷

Those little white spots you see after a professional teeth whitening treatment were already there — they just weren’t as visible before. Whitening doesn’t create these spots, but it can TEMPORARILY make them stand out more. This is because the whitening process lightens the surrounding enamel faster than the spots themselves, causing a contrast that makes them pop.

These white areas are often caused by things like:
🔹 Early enamel demineralization
🔹 Fluorosis (excessive fluoride exposure during tooth development)
🔹 Previous trauma to the tooth
🔹 Natural variations in enamel density

💡 The good news? These spots usually start to blend in over the next few days as your enamel rehydrates and the tooth color evens out. In many cases, they become less noticeable than before whitening!
