Today we honour and recognize the children who did not make it home, and the survivors whose lives were forever changed. Canada is a great country with a dark history, and I am grateful that we are finally recognizing the atrocities that happened and working towards righting those wrongs. Today my heart is with all Indigenous communities across Canada, and I hope that we as a country continue to make healing steps towards reconciliation 🧡

In all MyoFix treatments, we assess and treat fascia- but what exactly is it? In simple terms, it’s a web-like network that holds our body together and acts as a superhighway for information your body sends to your brain and vice versa! When you realize how integral fascia is in your body’s functioning, you will realize why it’s important to keep it healthy!

Whether it is 15 minutes or 1 hour, getting outside and going for a walk is one of the easiest ways to regulate your nervous system. This can help aid in digestion too! If you’re having an “off” day, going for a quick walk is a great first step to get back on track 👍🏻💙

“Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don’t shoot their husbands, they just don’t” (bonus points if you know what movie this is from! 👩🏼‍⚖️💕)

In all seriousness, endorphins are your body’s response to pain and stress and produce a feeling of general well-being. This is why people who run experience a runners high, lifters get a body buzz, and even why some pregnant people are able to give birth without epidurals or other opiates! Your endorphins also get released during a treatment with me, so book an appointment to get those good vibes flowing!! ✌🏻😎

These are some amazing visuals of some of the major lines of fascia throughout your body. They contribute to stability, elasticity, and facilitate controlled movement throughout the body. The main symptom of imbalances throughout these lines is pain, and that’s where MyoFix comes in! 🧬💥

Where do I start 🙆🏼‍♀️ So much is happening in so little time, so I’m gonna sparknotes everything:⁣

🌟My dear friend and fellow MyoFix Therapist is expanding to Moosomin! He will primarily be working out of our Moosomin and Regina locations, but don’t be surprised if you see him back in Brandon every once in a while! ⁣

🌟 is an exciting new addition to our clinic this fall! Cat Whitecloud of .ca will be coaching Prenatal and Core & Floor classes on Thursday evenings! Check her out for more details 👀⁣

🌟 My schedule and my office will be revamped for September!! I have more weekends and more general availability throughout the weekdays!⁣

🌟 With College and University around the corner, we are excited to be partnering with to provide discounted treatments for students with a Paw Pass! ⁣

I am so grateful for each and every opportunity I’ve had working with MyoFix, and I’m so excited for what’s coming in the future 💗

Fun facts about the biggest nerve in your body 🧬 ⁣

A lot of people have heard of the term Sciatica, but what they don’t know is that it isn’t always caused by a disc herniation, bone spurs, or obesity. Sometimes it a tight muscle in your glutes, other times it might be a symptom of a postural imbalance

These are some great visuals to help us understand why wearing shoes that are made to fit our feet is so important for our structural integration.

Why did we start wearing shoes that didn’t fit in the first place? In 12th century Europe, having long and pointy shoes was status symbol, while in 10th century China, foot binding was a cultural practice among women. Today, many of us unknowingly alter the shape of our feet because we don’t realize our shoes are not made to fit our feet.

These are some great sites to find shoes that are made to fit your feet:
