Dear Parents/Guardians,
Are you ready to unleash your child's inner coding genius? Look no further! We are delighted to announce our Coding Summer Camp, hosted by Brandon's Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba Inc . Designed for children aged 9-12, this immersive camp promises an exciting journey into the world of coding and computer programming.

Here are some incredible outcomes your child can expect from this program:
1. Create and Animate Characters: Watch your child's creativity come to life as they learn to create and animate their own characters. Using a beginner-friendly platform, campers will explore the basics of coding while bringing their imaginative characters to life on the screen.
2. Learn about Variables: Variables are like containers that hold information. Through fun and interactive activities, our experienced instructors will guide campers in understanding what variables are and how they can be used in coding. Your child will gain a solid foundation in this fundamental concept.
3. Program a Simple Game: Get ready to witness your child's excitement as they learn to program their very own game! Our camp focuses on empowering young learners to develop their problem-solving skills by coding a simple game from scratch. They will explore the concepts of sequencing, loops, and conditional statements, all while having a blast.
4. Foster Critical Thinking and Creativity: Our program emphasizes critical thinking and creativity. Campers will be encouraged to think outside the box, experiment with different ideas, and find innovative solutions to coding challenges. They will develop a growth mindset, resilience, and confidence as they explore the limitless possibilities of coding.

At Brandon's Learning Disabilities Association of Manitoba Inc., we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. Our instructor is experienced in working with diverse learners, ensuring that every child feels supported and valued throughout their coding journey.

The Coding Summer Camp will run for one week from July 10th to July 14th. Limited spots are available, so secure your child's place today! To register or find out more information, please call 204-727-4669 or email ldambdn@mymts.net to register by July 07/23
