Super Thrifty Drugs

Founded in 1977, we are Manitoba’s largest, independent pharmacy. Super Thrifty was founded in 1977 in Brandon, Manitoba by seven partners.

At that time, there were five stores with three located in Brandon, one in Rivers and one in Hamiota. There are now fifteen drugstores operating under the Super Thrifty banner, including one in Saskatchewan and one in British Columbia.

Debbie is the Accounting Supervisor at Super Thrifty's head office in Brandon, and this year marks an incredible 32 years with us! 🙌

She loves working with numbers, problem solving, and the flexibility her role offers.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Debbie enjoying the outdoors. Since buying a motorhome during Covid, she’s been exploring some of Manitoba’s beautiful camping spots like Spruce Woods, Rivers, and Adam Lake. 🚐📚🌲

Super Thrifty Drugs is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician to join our health care team in Morris, Manitoba!

𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 & 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
✅General tasks associated with a pharmacy technician or assistant
✅Preparing compliance packaging
✅Prescription order entry
✅Responding to phone inquiries as directed
✅Inventory management: placing & receiving orders and stock replenishment

𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬:
✅Previous practical experience or formal training in a pharmacy setting preferred, training may be provided
✅Superior communication skills
✅Organizational and problem solving skills
✅Customer service skills
✅The ability to work in a team setting
✅Previous experience with the Kroll pharmacy software system is an asset.
