I figured its about that time I Introduce myself.
My name is Rayna, im 29yrs old. I grew up on a farm 20 minutes south of Brandon. In Nesbitt. Maybe you've heard of it, chances are, you haven't! I have the sweetest orange and white dog named Benjamin Button (Benny for short), that Im mildly obsessed with. I enjoy the outdoors and hiking, followed by zoning out to a good view. I like to dabble in sports, although I mostly just watch these days. Im a sucker for a good spin class, followed by a sauna and a stretch. But I also don't mind drinking a tall glass of wine while cooking up a storm for my friends and fam. Firm believer that balance is key, right here ! 🙌
In 2018, I graduated from a 2200 hr Massage Therapy Program at Robertson College. Over the past few years, I have bounced back and forth from New Zealand. Spending my time working and learning lots at a few amazing Massage Clinics in NZ, Brandon and Killarney. Earlier this year I completed a 4 month contract on a Yacht Cruise in the Caribbean/Mediterranean. I was working in the spa department, practicing massage and offering body treatments, such as, salt scrubs, facials, body wraps, and hot stone massage. As well as, teaching daily yoga/pilates classes.
I am so grateful for opportunities the Massage/Wellness field have blessed me with. The travel aspect was definitely something that motivated me to pursue this industry. But I soon realized that, helping people, building positive relationships with clients, and having great chats, is really why I love my job.

My fiancé, Ezequiel, and I, have made the decision to move back to Canada and settle down for a while. I cant promise I'll be back forever because you never really know whats next. But I definitely intend on sticking around for the foreseeable future/next few years. It is so nice, to be closer to, and have the support of my family and friends again. Spending time away has woken me up to how good we have it here in Manitoba (despite the winters, of course!) But, I really do believe this is a great place to call home, opportunities are plentiful, and a work life balance that is hard to get elsewhere.
Starting my own business has been a dream since day one and I'm so excited to be at this point. But I must say, the experience I have gained and the mentors I have met along the way is so incredibly valuable. You know who you are!
Running my own show has also given me a bit of a second wind, and inspired some continuing education courses, like lymphatic drainage and advanced sport massage... stay tuned...
