The World Series is on, and for a lot of older adults, that means it’s time to settle in with a snack, a blanket, and some good baseball.
It’s a great reminder that the small routines and traditions we enjoy, like watching a game, can bring a lot of comfort and connection.

The harvest season has been bountiful this year! I am incredibly blessed to not only have the ability to grow my own food in the warmer months, but to share the abundance and connect with others in my community.
This year I was able to gift much of my tomato and pepper harvest to colleagues, clients, friends and neighbours. This whole process has been so rewarding and enriching; I continue to learn and grow each year.
From saving my own seeds and cultivating them, nurturing the plants through to their full maturity, and incorporating them in meals to share with loved ones, this journey has been a true joy!

From smartphone basics to online storage, and even one-on-one tech support, there’s something for everyone. The topics change each month, so there is always more to learn!

An age-friendly social group to connect with local seniors. This free and accessible program highlights the visibility of seniors in public places as opposed to seniors centres, and promotes socialization over other task-based activities, such as card games or physical exercises.
