Brain Injury Recovery is NOT BLACK & WHITE!

Today on World Brain Day 🧠

I want to talk to you about recovery from a concussion/brain injury.

It is not black and white, there are no clear instructions or guidelines to follow. It is grey!

What this means is that every recovery is different and based on each person and each injury. This means that your recovery and physiotherapy journey should be just as unique!

Your recovery should be based on a detailed assessment and may change over time and throughout your recovery!

This is completely normal!

I am temporarily out of the clinic taking a little spring adventure.

I’m taking a weekend away to reset and recharge, then fulfilling my exam marking duties at Mohawk College, catching a Blue Jays game and finishing my time off with some much needed bestie time up north.

I’ll be back B3 Therapy on April 22nd — emails will be checked occasionally, but response times might be a little slower while I’m off and adventuring.

Thanks for your patience while I take this little pause — see you soon… rested and recharged. 🫶🏼
