It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of one of our Guiding Hands friends.

Barb Girdlestone passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 1st, 2025.

Barb loved Games, Music and Movement, baking and bingo.

She was a kind friend and will be deeply missed by all of us.

Fall Camp Week is almost here!

Our Muskoka camp runs Sept 29th - October 3rd this year.

DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!!

We have finished most of the calculations from our Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser.

After expenses, we managed to raise $5548.15 plus a bag full of nickels which have yet to be tallied and rolled (that's all for you Wendy!!)

These funds will go directly to supporting the application process for unfunded individuals and making our programs more affordable for the clients we currently support.

Thank you so much to everyone for supporting us in all of the ways that you do. You have truly had an impact on the lives of adults with disabilities.

Guiding Hands is an organization that developed out of a need for simplified services for individuals with developmental disabilities. We feel that every client should have access to qualified personal support workers who are easy to find, and services that are easy to use while still being decently affordable.
