Our office has worked hard to make this 110 year old building as accessible as possible. Thank you City of Brantford for the recognition!

Some of the steps we have made to reduce barriers include accessible doors at both the main entrance and restrooms, a completely wheelchair-accessible lane of equipment, and a recently upgraded elevator.

The office has been called William Street Eyecare for many years, but our longstanding patients still refer to us as Wells and Young. Here’s a look at Dr. Frank Wells when he graduated in 1948!

An important part of caring for your eyes is continuing education. Dr. Wilson spent the weekend at the University of Waterloo learning minor surgical and laser procedures. While not currently part of our scope in Ontario, these procedures are common in other jurisdictions. By training now, our optometrists will continue to provide the best possible care for our patients.

And anyone who knows Dr. Wilson can guess he was saying “pew pew” when using the laser…
