I had the privilege this past week of meeting a 35 year old with Autism on our holiday. We looked forward to seeing him everyday to share in his stories. Please be supportive of these kiddos!

A doctor recently told me that 1 in every 66 Canadian children have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder. April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day and is meant to raise awareness about people with Autism Spectrum Disorder and to educate the public about autism.

People around the globe are encouraged to to show support and understanding for those with autism.

Autism is a complex mental condition and developmental disability, characterized by difficulties in the way a person communicates and interacts with other people.

This Tuesday, April 2nd, I encourage you all to wear blue to show your support and raise awareness about autism. Let’s join in the commitment to advocating for all people with autism
