We are excited to welcome Stephanie to the Brantford Therapeutic Massage team!

Stephanie specializes in Therapeutic Massage, Chronic Pain & Muscle Tension, Trigger Point Therapy, Indian Head Massage, Stress Reduction & Relaxation Support! 💆‍♀️

We asked her a few questions and this is what she had to say:

What inspired you to become an RMT?
I previously worked in healthcare and wanted a career that allowed for more hands-on, patient-centred care. After experiencing and managing my own daily pain, I developed a deeper appreciation for how ongoing discomfort can impact everyday life. This perspective has shaped my passion for supporting self-care and long-term maintenance, and for helping clients feel more comfortable in their bodies so they can live fuller, more fulfilling lives.

How long have you been practicing massage therapy?
I have been practicing as an RMT since October 2025, with a focus on providing thoughtful, individualized treatments, and I continue to build my skills through ongoing education.

What’s your favourite massage technique to perform and why?
I enjoy therapeutic massage that focuses on targeted, hands-on techniques to address areas of tension and restriction. I like treatments that are intentional and effective, where I can feel changes in the tissue and help clients move and feel better, while always tailoring the session to each client’s comfort level and overall needs.

What’s your favourite way to relax and your hobbies outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and prioritizing self-care. I love weight training, and spending time outdoors. I value time with my daughters and family, enjoy connecting with friends, and like unwinding at home with a good movie or having a relaxing at-home spa night.

Join us in giving Stephanie a warm welcome!

Kelly specializes in General Swedish Massage, Relaxation, Indian Head Massage, Deep Tissue Massage! 💆‍♀️

We asked her a few questions so you can get to know her, and this is what she had to say:

What inspired you to become an RMT?
Massage Therapy has been a modality that I have benefited from for more than half of my life
and has been a career path that I have always wanted to explore for as long as I can remember. I
finally took the plunge and went back to school – better late than never – and have never looked
back. I just want to help people feel better than they did when they showed up for a treatment
and there is nothing better than the feeling that you have helped someone.

How long have you been practicing massage therapy?
I am currently entering my third year of practice.

What’s your favorite massage technique to perform and why?
My favourite techniques to preform are muscle stripping and myofascial release. They are often
the techniques needed to release very tight muscles and, in my opinion, provide beneficial
results.

What’s your favorite way to relax or practice self-care outside of work?
In my spare time I like to get lost in a good action packed novel while listening to a relaxing
playlist I have created. One of my favourite activities is taking my Portuguese Waterdog (who
doesn’t like the water – go figure) Myles for a daily leisure walk with my husband. In the
warmer weather I like to bike, hike and paddleboard.

We are excited to welcome Damilola to the Brantford Therapeutic Massage team!

We asked her a few questions so you can get to know her, and this is what she had to say:

What inspired you to become an RMT?

I was inspired to become an RMT because I have always been interested in helping people feel better in their bodies. Seeing how pain, stress, and tension can affect daily life made me want to work in a hands-on way to support healing, recovery, and overall well-being. Massage therapy allows me to combine clinical knowledge with compassionate care, which is very meaningful to me.

What’s your specialty?
My practice is rooted in an understanding that massage offers holistic and comprehensive therapy for the mind, body and spirit. I am passionate about supporting my clients in their journey to overall health and well-being and committed to providing personalized care that is tailored to meet each client’s specific goals. I specialize in a variety of massage therapy techniques that effectively manage soft tissue injury or strain, muscle tension, stress, sleep disturbances and headaches. To help clients achieve their treatment goals, my adaptive approach to massage therapy includes prenatal massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, Swedish massage, and relaxation massage.

What’s your favourite way to relax or practice self-care outside of work?

Outside work, I enjoy activities that help me recharge both physically and mentally. This includes practicing self-care, staying active, cooking and spending time with my family. I also value learning and continue to grow both personally and professionally.

We asked him a few questions so you can get to know him, and this is what he had to say:

What inspired you to become an RMT?
- After retiring from the Fire Department I felt that I still had something to offer. I have always been fascinated by the fact that you can affect someones well being simply by the human touch. Also, to be part of an industry where people are happy to see you and happy when they leave is a gift.

How long have you been practicing massage therapy?
- Entering my third year of practice.

What’s your favorite massage technique to perform and why?
- My favourite techniques to perform are Pin & Stretch - everybody can use more stretching, Joint Mobilizations - allows the joints to open creating more space and providing better movement, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) - using specialized tools to detect and treat soft tissue dysfunction, such as scars, adhesions, and myofascial restrictions.

What’s your favorite way to relax or practice self-care outside of work?
- Running, Biking, Hiking, Paddleboarding, Reading.
