Please have patience with us as our phone system is not equipped to handle the amount of incoming calls for all of the new providers in the clinic, we are working on getting a new phone system to improve patient access and flow but it is a timely process.

Dr. Parker’s extension is #8 which you can hit as soon as you get through to the automated message. There is voicemail that you can always leave messages for call backs if you can’t reach me.

I will be in office Monday-Friday with the phone hours being:
9:00-11:30 & 1:30-4:00
We are CLOSED for lunch from 12-1
Dr. Parker’s office days will differ every week which is a similar system to what it was like 2 years ago.

As of October 3, 2022, our office will be located on the 1st floor of the Medical Arts building in suite 110 as we will be joining the Bridgewater and Area Family Health Clinic.

***Our phone number will now be 902-527-1800 as the 902-530-3690 will be disconnected by the end of the month.***

New clinic email: bafhc@nshealth.ca as the kjp@eastlink.ca will be discontinued as well.

We have been recieving lots of questions about the Covid-19 Vaccine so here is the information we have available at this time.

Due to the rise of Covid 19 cases we have put a few new policies in place:

Masks are required to enter the office.

Office entry is by appointment only. Only patients booked and screened will be allowed in at this time.

Please do not come until your scheduled appointment time.

Support persons (family members/guests) will not be permitted in the clinic with patients at this time. Unless medically necessary.

If you are coming to the office without an appointment (picking up something, etc) please call the office first to have the proper screening done.

DRIVE-THRU FLU CLINIC:
Medical Arts Building 42 Glen Allan Drive (Nafthal Drive Entrance)

October 23rd: 3:30 PM-6:30PM
October 24th: 9:30AM-3:00PM
October 30th: 3:30 PM-6:30PM
October 31st: 9:30AM-3:00PM

Why? Bridgewater area health care providers have teamed-up to provide important flu vaccinations in a drive-thru environment. This format will allow our physicians to efficiently administer the vaccinations while providing a safer outdoor environment and appropriate physical distancing.

What? This is a drop-in clinic for anyone over the age of five with a valid MSI card. NO APPOINTMENT OR PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED. Patients will be screened on arrival to the parking lot.
All patients MUST wear a mask.

Who? Bridgewater area family physicians and nurses will provide the vaccinations to any patients. A team of volunteers will also be on site to assist with screening and direction.

-Children MUST be able to hold still on their own.
- Patients seated on the left side of the vehicle will receive the vaccination in their left arm, those seated on the right will receive the vaccination in their right arm.
-Please wear clothing (i.e. short-sleeves) that will allow easy access to your upper arm.
-Patients will be asked to wait in their vehicles for 15 minutes following their injection prior to departing the parking lot.
