It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Don Allen, the founder of Provincial Hearing. Don established this business with a commitment to personalized care and a passion for helping others hear life more fully. His vision, values, and dedication laid the foundation for everything we continue to do today. Don was not only a pioneer in the hearing care field, but a mentor to many — including our current owner, who carries forward his legacy with pride and gratitude.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and to all who were fortunate to know him.

She started in this field 34 years ago and bought Provincial Hearing 29 years ago, continuing its legacy and growing it into what it is today: a place where patients are truly cared for like family.

Beyond her daily work, she’s mentored countless professionals and served on hearing care boards from local to international levels. Her passion, heart, and leadership have shaped not just this clinic but the profession itself.

For the past 29 years, she’s owned and operated Provincial Hearing, one of the most respected and oldest independent clinics in Nova Scotia, building it on a foundation of exceptional care and personalized service. 🇨🇦
