As I sit in the airport ready to head home this post came up on my timeline at hit just the right time.
I had “ Mom guilt “ a few days on my trip ( the ones where you lay and re charge ) where I was doing exactly what my body & mind needed. A break. But questioned if I should have.
Why shouldn’t I right? Everyone deserves a break. I preach that to my friends and clients. But when it comes to myself - I hold myself to a higher standard.
Why?
It’s selfish NOT to take care of yourself. You cannot pour from an empty cup and it’s difficult to drink from one that’s overflowing.
YOU deserve your happiest & healthiest version of you - and I can’t wait to get home from this reset vaca to help you guys for the next 8 weeks in your personal growth leading up to summer ☀️

You don't need to take care of everything,
you don't have to be a super mom, a super housewife, a super professional, a super woman.
Because when your body gets tired, there will be few who will remember that you tried to be all of this in one person.
So, leave the house for later, go for a walk, go to the park, start the gym, buy clothes, go to the salon, sleep, be yourself, take care of yourself, love yourself, and do it exclusively for and for you.
Kids grow up, the husband sometimes leaves, the job finds a replacement, the house will get dirty again, but you don't get a second chance.
