Due to the recent NS Government State of Emergency we have put new staffing policies in place.
The health and safety of our staff and customers remains our number one priority.
Please know we will do all we can to continue to clean, inspect and repair your gear. Should you have any questions please call us.

As the situation with COVID-19 – Corona Virus - continues to evolve throughout the world and within our own communities, Cumings Fire and Safety and Atlantic Bunker Gear will do our best to continue serving our customers and the many fire fighters and first responders who rely on our services. We will strive to help minimize any potential impacts on the men and women who serve our communities within the fire industry.
The safety and health of our employees and customers remains our top priority. We are incorporating new policies, enhanced sanitation practices and adapted work schedules to help ensure our workplace remains a safe and healthy environment.
As this situation continues to evolve and new recommendations come from government officials, we will base our decisions on these recommendations and the advice of the Public Health Agency of Canada. We will do all we can to keep our staff, customers and community safe. Any possible future changes to our services will be posted on FACEBOOK.
We ask that customers follow the recommendations of the Nova Scotia Government - remain home if you feel sick, practice social distancing and if you have been out of the country, please remain home for at least a two week period. We ask that no customers who have travelled out of the country visit our retail location. This is for the safety of our entire community. We will be happy to service you via email or over the phone.
We must all think of the health of our community at large, and act accordingly.
Our thoughts go out to all those affected by the Corona Virus.
Thank you for your support.
Stay safe, stay healthy!
