We are deeply saddened to share the unexpected passing of Catherine MacRae.
Catherine was a pillar of Earth Angels for over 15 years, serving in leadership roles and helping shape the organization into what it is today. Her impact reaches far beyond titles, she was a steady, thoughtful, and deeply respected leader who carried herself with strength, clarity, and purpose.
She embodied what it means to be a woman in leadership, grounded in community, strong in business, and always intentional in how she showed up for others.
On a personal level, Catherine was someone I leaned on often. Many early mornings were spent in conversation, talking through challenges, relationships, and growth. She had a rare ability to listen, process, and articulate exactly what needed to be said. Her guidance helped shape not only decisions, but perspective.
She brought wisdom and strength to every room, but just as importantly, she brought laughter. She was simply fun to be around.
Yesterday, we came together to celebrate her life. But the truth is her celebration doesn’t end. Her voice, her influence, and her presence will continue to guide us every day in the work we do and the way we lead.
