Happy Wednesday!  
 
Hello you wonderful humans. It saddens me to say that unfortunately it is time for me to pack in for the season and focus on rest before the baby comes. My body has blessed me to go to 37 weeks of work with this little but is now begging for rest.  
 
I appreciate each and every single one of you who navigated not only this season but this entire year with me and chose to stick around!  
 
If you have an appointment upcoming in the next week I will be reaching out as my plan was to work until end of next week anyways ✨ 

I will be back in March 🤍 
 
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and happy new year. We will post updates when we are ready 🤍

‼️ IMPORTANT REMINDERS ‼️

Hi! It’s almost the end of November, crazy I know…. That being said, December is slowly creeping up on us. Usually this time of year I’m posting my annual “get in to use up those benefits”  
 
This time I’m posting to be transparent, as most or ALL of you know by know we are expecting our second child VERY soon.  
 
That being said, my last day with North Shore (formerly PhysioHouse) is next Thursday, it’s currently already booked but you can ask to be on the wait list if you wish!  
 
My last day at home?!??! I have no idea…. I’m currently booking into just before the holidays. But I’m doing my best to listen to my body.  
 
So that being said, December appointments are not going to be 100% confirmed and could be cancelled/rescheduled at any given time.  
 
Most of you have expressed your understanding and I am so grateful for you all! I am doing my best to go as long as I can, for you 🤍  
 
I will be as up to date as I possibly can be but if you receive a cancellation notification/text at 3 am I apologize in advance.  
 
I hope I can make all those appointments happen for you guys I really do, I am starting to move very slowly but I’m still hanging in there thank you for staying with my through all the crazy these last 8 months. It means the world 🤍 
 
Lastly I hope to be back up and running from home 2 days a week by March so keep your eyes peeled for that update! 👀

Hey everyone! Karley here! Just browsing through the sweet memories captured for us just a few short weeks ago. 🌅 
 
A sneak peak at the space we will be welcoming you all to, very shortly. (Yes that’s the road we’re building our home on!) 🏡 
 
I thought these photos would be a sweet way to — start up the send off, these photos were booked a long time ago, long before I ever knew they would be just as much family memories as they would be the last set of photos before we become a family of 5! (Daisy is always included lol) What a sweet memory I am forever grateful for. 🤍 
 
Back to the “start up of the send off” — mobiles.  
 
If you are a mobile client of mine this is a happy/sad moment, I will be stopping mobile services VERY soon, life is gearing up for a big change again and my body is just about ready to be done lugging that table around. (Although not done forever!) I am gearing down to be done in the near future.  
 
BUT — here’s the happy part, since my room in the house is not quite ready yet I have a promo for you ALL — for at least the next 2 weeks all mobile services will be provided at REGULAR COST (clinic pricing) — start the car (pun intended) 🤣 
 
But, once my space is ready I will be done done with mobiles until at least next summer 🤍 while I give my body time to recover and ease back into motherhood and working regularly again after this little one comes to the world! 
 
I am truly thankful for each and every one of you, I would not be able to live this life that I enjoy, and I appreciate such trust with letting me enter your beautiful homes 🤍

Guess which dynamic duo is ALMOST back! 
 
That’s right! In just a short few weeks you all will be welcomed back to our HOME practice. I know some of you have been so excited for me to be working from home again! And I’ve missed those of you who have been patiently waiting.  
 
So has Daisy. She is so excited to see some new and familiar faces and happily guide you up the driveway or meet you at the door!  
 
Some pre-practice pointers: 
 
• there is ample parking available at the new space, with a spot just for you located in front of the door (short walk — no stairs YES) 
• my treatment space is separated from the house (still attached but we have our own door! Yay for more privacy for everyone!)  
• there is a small bathroom located in the treatment space.  
 
 
We designed this space with YOU in mind, it still allows me the privilege to work from home — while giving you the business and clinic feel you’re expecting.  
 
We can’t wait for you to come check it out! (Yes house tours will be provided if requested 🤣)

Let’s talk pre-booking appointments! 
 
Okay, hey! My name is Karley and I am not assertive AT ALL, lol. Especially after doing this for almost 10 years. I typically will never bring up pre-booking your next appointment unless you ask.. 
 
In my (almost) 10 years I have realized — especially since going solo, how important pre-booking your next appointment can be.  
 
Pre-booking your next appointment on the way out can be so beneficial to both of us in so many ways! Whether you choose to book weekly, bi-weekly or monthly! 💆🏼‍♀️ 
 
Booking your appointment in advance allows for: 
 
• guaranteed availability: chances are I have more space available in the future when you prebook — and the PRIME availability everyone is after. 
 
• consistency in care: everyone says, “I need to start coming consistently” and well, pre-booking is the only guarantee to stay accountable to yourself and do just that! Stay consistent! No more excuses or last minute hopes you’ll get in! — also staying consistent in your treatment schedule and plan will leave you feeling your best all the time!  
 
• Less wait time for response: let’s be honest, I do my best but I have a 2 year old and just an overall busy life, I do my best to respond asap to your inquiries, but sometimes I get lost. Pre-booking on your way out saves both of us, plus there’s lots of time for communication leading up to your appointment time.  
 
When I worked from home, I could be a bit more flexible with my schedule and I get people definitely got used to that! I’m super grateful for the time I had! Currently though, my hours are the same — the schedule is not as flexible and I’m enjoying that too!  
 
So next time you’re in consider booking your next appointment in advance. We will both do our happy dances when you do! I promise your time schedule in between your appointments is completely your own and in your control. Plus I’m SO happy to have you back 🥲☺️

Welcome March! (10 days late, lol)   
   
March is a special month for me, personally. March is Juvenile Arthritis Awareness month in Canada.    
   
Affecting approximately 25,000 children nationwide, this autoimmune disease can present itself in many different ways depending on the individual affected. Chronic pain, severe joint damage, that can interfere with activities of daily living and quality of life. Sometimes these symptoms can affect children for only a short period of time or their whole lives. A disease typically found in older adults, that takes many by surprise when found in children.    
   
Just ask my parents, one day randomly at 15 years of age I woke up in extreme pain — unable to move any of my joints without wailing. 3 long fought years of different medications, physio, massage, doctors visits and rest I was finally in what was considered to be remission and able to live my life normally again.    
   
That’s where this ties together, my massage therapy journey started when I was sick, and brought me a love for wanting to help others too. Here I am treating patients of all ages with arthritis helping them too.    
   
Massage therapy can be super beneficial to those people who struggle with arthritis and here are a few reasons why:   
   
• Pain Relief   
• Improved Circulation
• Reduced Stiffness
• Muscle Relaxation
• Stress Reduction
• Improved Sleep
• Increased Joint Mobility
