This year’s market is shaping up to be our biggest and best yet, featuring 54 amazing vendors ready to share their creativity, passion, and one-of-a-kind products with you. From handcrafted jewellery, candles, and soaps to delicious treats, beauty products, cards, and even the Firefighters Calendar, there is truly something for everyone to discover. 🙌

In the spirit of giving, we kindly ask all visitors to bring one non-perishable food item to donate. ❤️

💗 “Cancer doesn’t like laughter.”

When Carol was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016, she met fear with faith and humour. She bought a joke book, shared laughs with everyone around her, and reminded us that even in the hardest moments, a little joy can make all the difference.

✨ “Believe in yourself and your body will take care of itself,” she says. “Laughter is the best medicine — because cancer doesn’t like laughter.”

Her positivity and calm spirit carried her through surgery, guided by prayer and trust. Nine years later, she continues to inspire everyone at Legacy Brighton Retirement Living with her light, strength, and sense of humour. 💕

🎀 This October, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we celebrate the courage that reminds us of hope, faith, and laughter have the power to heal.

👮‍♂️✨ Today we welcomed the OPP to Legacy Brighton Retirement Living for a Fraud & Scam Prevention Seminar with our residents.

Here are 5 tips to stay safe from scams:

1️⃣ Be cautious with unexpected calls or emails – never share personal info.

2️⃣ Always verify before you trust – call the company back using an official number.

3️⃣ Protect your accounts – use strong passwords and update them regularly.

4️⃣ Stay alert to common scams – if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

5️⃣ Talk to a trusted friend or family member if something feels suspicious.

On August 8th, Pete Litster, Dave van Egmond, Sarah Tilley, and Kristin Ridder proudly participated in the annual John Smylie Memorial Golf Classic at Oak Hills Golf Club. ⛳️

The event raised over $132,500 in support of the Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Emerge Stronger campaign, with proceeds dedicated to funding new equipment and enhancing patient care services at the Trenton Memorial Hospital.

This event made an outstanding impact, showcasing the generosity, compassion, and unity that define our community. It is a great reminder of what can be achieved when we come together in support of a greater cause! 💛✨

Yesterday marked the official groundbreaking for Belle Station Apartments, the first phase in a multi development planned in Coburg, Ontario. This 102-unit apartment building will offer thoughtfully designed one- and two-bedroom rental homes right here at 535 John Keefer Mahony Court in Cobourg.
