We’re getting ready for our 5th Annual Shoe Drive happening Sunday, December 14th from 10AM–4PM at Body & Sole (8 Loyalist Drive, Unit 9)!

We’re asking you to start collecting now — but please don’t drop off your shoes until the day of the event.

We’re looking for gently used shoes and boots of all sizes to support Community Partners for Success and Grace Inn Shelter.
And remember… if you wouldn’t wear them yourself, please don’t donate them 👟✨

🌿 Rib Pain on the Road? Here’s How to Cope While Travelling 🚗✈️

When your mid-back or ribs seize up, every breath, twist, or laugh can hurt — and finding relief on vacation or work trips isn’t always easy!
Here’s some travel-friendly self-care you can do when you don’t have access to therapy:

✨ 1️⃣ Gentle Movement
Try slow side bends, cat–cow stretches, or reaching one arm overhead while breathing deeply into your ribs. Movement keeps the area from stiffening up.

✨ 2️⃣ Heat Therapy
A warm shower, hotel towel heated with the hair dryer, or even a rice sock (if you packed one!) helps relax tight intercostal muscles.

✨ 3️⃣ Breath Work
Focus on lateral breathing — inhale wide into the ribs, exhale slowly. It reduces guarding and restores mobility between the ribs and spine.

✨ 4️⃣ Supportive Rest
Avoid slumping in car seats or hotel beds. Use a rolled-up towel or small pillow between your ribs and the seat for gentle support.

✨ 5️⃣ Self-Massage
Use a tennis ball or small travel roller against the wall. Slowly roll between your shoulder blades and along the sides of your ribs.
