So true! You'll find yourself so much happier if you're true to yourself and stop worrying about what others think of you. I'm lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the best weirdos, and I love them all! 😊💜

This SO MUCH. Some demons are lovely, and often it's angry human spirits causing trouble. Church propaganda is brutal 😅

Hello on this beautiful January day! While the snow has covered up the ground with quite the blanket of snow, it's as important as ever to keep yourself happy and healthy. With that said, this will be focusing more on the benefits of giving yourself a break and treating yourself! Burning yourself out won't do anyone any good, so taking a moment to rest and reward yourself in a healthy way is just as important as the actual wellness activities themselves!

💃 Dancing/Physical Activities! One excellent reward you can give yourself is going out to do a fun physical activity, whether that's alone or with friends. Going out dancing, taking a hike, going for a swim, or any number of other activities are all great ways to stay active while enjoying yourself.

🍝 Cooking! Another activity that's great alone or with friends, exercising your creativity through culinary exploration is a ton of fun with an end result no one will complain about. Communal cooking has been a practice for thousands of years, and bringing it back now is something I already do in my friend group. The friends who cook together, stay together!

📖 Read a book! While this is often a solo activity, I have also found that taking turns reading out loud to one another makes for a wonderful time. Not only can it be great socially, it also helps you develop as a person as you learn new things. Books may be seen as a leisurely activity to relax, but that doesn't mean they can't also be incredible opportunities to learn and grow together.

As always, I welcome and encourage you to add your own activities you like to reward yourself with. May your week be filled with love, joy, and inspiration! 😊

100% agree. I'm a witch but not a Wiccan. I certainly don't follow the Wiccan Rede/Law of Return. I'm a pagan who does follow the moon and seasons, but not all of us are or do. Gender does not gatekeep witchcraft, nor does sexuality or race while we're at it. I support some actions of the Satanic Temple, wouldn't call myself a Satanist, but do often work with Goetian spirits which is really just a fancy name for powerful demons. Witchcraft doesn't fit in a box any more than humanity does. We all are individuals, and while we generally have much in common we have many unique perspectives and experiences to contribute as well 😊

Happy Three Years! To celebrate this page turning three, we'll be doing a few things. I'm thinking we'll start out with a Tarot Reading Giveaway, do a little AMA Post so you all can get to know me a bit better, and wrap things up with a discount on my services for the rest of the month!

To start things off, this post will be our entry point for the giveaway! This event is open to all, and to enter all you have to do is comment your favourite crystal. I'll do additional winners based on the number of entries, and will leave entries open from now through to Tuesday, January 13th at 11:59pm.

Thank you all for your support, and I look forward to hearing from you soon! 😊💜

Today marks this page's third birthday! We've had our ups, our downs, our busy times, and our slow times. Through it all, it's the people like you who keep me coming back to share information and reduce the stigma around witchcraft and paganism, so thank you 💜

Happy everyone! Today I felt inspired to tell one of the stories of Scylla. Specifically, we'll be learning her origins. This legend is Hellenistic, and can be found in Ovid's Metamorphoses.

The story begins, as many do, with a beautiful nymph meeting a jealous deity. This time, we find the Sea Nymph Scylla catching the affections of Poseidon, or in some accounts Glaukos, a god of the sea.

However, Circe (a powerful goddess in her own right) was upset as she wanted the sea god for herself. In a jealous rage, Circe brewed a potent potion and threw it into the water where Scylla often bathed. This potion transformed the beautiful Nymph into the fearsome monster she is seen as in other stories, growing several heads with dog-like features.

Scylla appears in a few other stories as well, most notably in The Odyssey which ties her further to Circe, but that we will save for another time 😊
