Posture discomfort is one of the most common things we see — from neck and shoulder tension to upper back pain that creeps in after long hours at a desk or behind the wheel.

These simple movements combine both stretching and activation to help you reset your posture and relieve that day-to-day discomfort:

1️⃣ Neck release: Gently stretch the front of your neck to release tension through tight tissues.

2️⃣ Scapular activation: Strengthen the small stabilizing muscles between your shoulder blades to support upright posture and reduce strain.

A strong, mobile upper body helps your spine stay aligned and your muscles share the work — not dump it all on your neck and shoulders.

💾 Save this reel and try it the next time you feel that familiar posture tension setting in.

⚠️ Always consult with a qualified health professional before trying new movements or exercises to ensure they’re right for you.

A paraffin wax bath is more than just a warm, relaxing treatment — it’s a therapeutic tool we use to:

🔹 Improve circulation

🔹 Ease joint stiffness and muscle tension

🔹 Support recovery from hand injuries

🔹 Provide relief for conditions like Raynaud’s or arthritis

The gentle heat from the melted wax helps relax muscles, increase blood flow, and improve flexibility — making it a great complement to your treatment plan or as a stand-alone comfort session.

If your hands are feeling tight, tired, or achy, this might be the warm relief you’ve been needing.

A strong back is what supports good posture, balanced movement, and long-term spinal health. When those muscles are weak, your neck, shoulders, and lower back pick up the slack — leading to tension, discomfort, and even injury.

Strengthening your back helps you:

✨ Maintain better posture

💨 Breathe more efficiently

💪 Reduce tension and pain

🏋️ Move with more control and confidence

Your back is the foundation that keeps everything else aligned — so give it the strength it deserves.

💾 Save this reel and try it after your chest-opening stretch — they’re the perfect pair for better posture.

⚠️ Always consult with a qualified health professional before trying new movements or exercises to ensure they’re right for you.

Hours spent sitting, studying, or scrolling can leave your chest tight and your back rounded — creating that forward posture so many of us struggle with.

This simple stretch helps open the front of your body and realign your posture by working through different angles of the chest to release tension where it tends to build up.

A few minutes of movement can make a big difference in how you carry yourself through the day.

💾 Save this reel and let us know when you’ve given it a try — notice how much lighter your posture feels after.

⚠️ Always consult with a qualified health professional before trying new movements or exercises to ensure they’re right for you.

Concussions don’t just affect the brain — they can also impact the neck, upper back, and overall circulation, leading to lingering symptoms like headaches, dizziness, and tension.

At Podium, chiropractic care plays an important role in supporting post-concussion recovery. Dr. Kevin Harrison often focuses on restoring proper movement and relieving soft tissue strain caused by the injury.

Treatment may include:

✨ Spinal manipulation to improve joint mobility

💆‍♂️ Acupuncture or laser therapy to reduce pain and inflammation

💨 Neck and upper back care to restore balance and blood flow

These therapies work together to help reduce post-concussion pain, ease muscle tension, and support your body’s natural healing process.

💬 If you’re dealing with lingering concussion symptoms, call (613) 498-0036 to book an appointment with Dr. Kevin Harrison to see how chiropractic care can support your recovery.

If you spend most of your day sitting, driving, or looking down at your phone… your thoracic spine (T-spine) is probably feeling it. 👀

The T-spine (that mid-back area between your shoulders) is designed to rotate, extend, and move — but our modern lifestyles do the opposite. Hours spent hunched over laptops or phones create stiffness that your body has to compensate for elsewhere.

When the T-spine doesn’t move well, your neck, shoulders, and lower back end up taking the load — leading to tension, aches, and even injury.

By taking a few minutes to stretch and mobilize your T-spine, you can:

✨ Improve posture

💪 Support stronger lifts and movements

🧘‍♀️ Reduce upper and lower back pain

🌬 Breathe more efficiently

Your body was built to move — not stay stuck in one position all day. A little mid-back mobility goes a long way toward keeping you pain-free and performing your best.

💾 Save this reel and let us know when you’ve given it a try — we’d love to hear how much better you feel after!

⚠️ Always consult with a qualified health professional before trying new movements or exercises to ensure they’re right for you.

Before your workout or game, skip the toe touches and reach for movement instead. Dynamic stretching wakes up your muscles, boosts blood flow, and gets your body ready to perform. 🏃‍♀️💨

Static stretching (holding a pose) is best saved for after activity — that’s when your muscles are warm and ready to lengthen, helping you recover and reduce soreness.

Think: Move to warm up, hold to cool down. 🙌

📌 Save this reel to reference before your next exercise so you’ve got a few go-to dynamic stretches ready to roll!
