Hello Everyone.

As a reminder, we will be open this coming weekend from 9:30am - 4:30pm. Our last day of business for the season is Sunday, December 22nd. If you are still in need of a tree, we welcome you to visit us.

Our tractor is now operational, and we are pleased to once again offer our wrapping services.

12/14/2024

Notice:

We are experiencing some technical difficulties with the tractor this morning in order to run our tree wrapper.

At this time we cannot offer tree wrapping. We are working vigilantly to get it up and running. We will keep you all posted.

Thank you for your understanding.

Good Morning Everyone,

Please note that the parking area is experiencing icy conditions, specifically in the driveway leading through the parking space.
To ensure a safe experience, we strongly encourage you to exercise extreme caution when walking and to park as close as possible to the tree wrapper (identified by the big red machine).

Alternatively, you may park slightly past the tree wrapper, near the big apple tree.

Once you have selected and packed your tree, you are welcome to drive to the office, park in front, and make payment, to avoid the icy surface.

Thank you for your cooperation, and please be safe!

Hello Everyone;

We would like to inform you that we remain open today, despite the snowfall. Please exercise caution when entering the parking area, as we are actively clearing the driveway and parking area. If you have a sled or toboggan, it may be helpful to bring it to aid in transporting your tree or escorting children around the premises. Snowshoes and skis are also welcome, as we have beautiful trails available.

Hello Everyone,

We would like to take a moment to remind you that while we permit the cutting of any tree, we respectfully request that you only cut trees that are 5’ and over. Trees less than this height are considered saplings and are not suitable for cutting.

Although smaller trees can be a popular choice, if you do cut a tree less than 5’ tall, you will be charged the 5’ price. This policy is in place to offset the cost of losing a tree before its prime cutting stage.

We appreciate your understanding.

Hi Everyone,

We just wanted to take a minute to answer some FAQ’s:

1. What type of tree do you carry?
We carry every common type of Christmas tree but some species may be more limited than others in stock or in size.

Firs - Balsam and Fraser - this is what we mostly carry and have a lot of in every size.

Spruce - Blue and White - more limited but this year many have hit the 5’ mark. Some are hidden deeper in the plots so if you’re looking for this one don’t be afraid to go further from the path.

Pines - Jack and Scotch - this is our least asked for species and very limited stock. What we do have is in a far back field and most are very large (over 10’) you may find some growing in some of the plots or along the fence line.

2. What sizes do you carry?
We have trees from 5’ all the way up to 24’

3. Do you supply tools to cut the tree?
Yes we have handsaws available to borrow you are also welcome to bring your own battery operated Sawzall. Please NO chainsaws as this is a liability and they are not needed for cutting Christmas trees.

4. Can you cut our tree for us?
While we do not mind cutting a larger tree (over 16’) we reserve this for those who are physically incapable due to a medical or physical reason. This also goes for hauling trees back to the baler. We just do not have the staff to help all who want a tree cut that are capable of doing so themselves.

5. Do you deliver?
We can however, delivery is only offered during the week and this is a premium service so delivery fees will be based on distance (within 20km) plus a charge for cutting the tree, wrapping and the cost of the tree. We also need you to come and pick your tree during the times we are open or by appointments during the week. We cannot deliver trees that are more than 16’.

We hope this helps answer some questions. Please feel free to message or call us if you have any others.

As we approach our opening day,
we’de like to kindly remind you of a few important details to ensure a delightful experience for all.

Please park near the office and enjoy a leisurely walk to find your perfect tree, as this is an integral part of the tree-cutting experience. If you need assistance, don't hesitate to ask; we're happy to help with hauling or cutting. Please find your tree independently, as we want to ensure it meets your unique preferences.

Also, while dogs are welcome, they must REMAIN leashed at all times to safeguard our animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, and horses and yours!

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to seeing everyone this Christmas season!

As promised here is our updated price list for the year. We have dedicated significant amount of time and effort to ensure our tree prices remain fair and reasonable.

We will be providing a measuring station near the baler/wrapper, making it easier for you to measure your tree for accurate pricing. We ask that ALL trees be measured before loading into your vehicle.

We welcome your creativity in topping select larger trees, while kindly requesting that our 12’ and under stock remain unaltered. After harvesting, please refrain from modifying your cut tree further in order to prevent waste. Please only cut once! You’re welcome to modify further once the tree has been measured and paid for.

Thank you for your cooperation and partnership; we're committed to providing assistance and clarity as needed

We have some exciting news to share!

We are bringing back The Great Christmas Halter Hunt (with a few changes 😉)

For more information see below…

🎉 It's that time of year again – the Great Halter & Lead Rope Hunt! 🎉

Caine and Mia’s halters and lead ropes are missing once more, and we need YOUR help to find them! Each day, a halter and lead rope will be hidden somewhere on the property, and it’s up to you to discover their secret hiding spots. 🧐✨

Here’s the exciting part: Every time you find one of these items, you’ll win a discount on your tree! There are 2 chances to win each day, so don't miss out on your opportunity. PLUS, we’re still missing their halters from last year’s hunt, so if you happen to stumble upon those, they’ll count toward a discount too!

Unlike last year, we do know where they are (shhh… 🤫), and we’re happy to provide hints and clues to help guide you in the right direction. The hunt will run every weekend until December 22nd, so there’s plenty of time to join the fun!

Here’s how the discounts break down:
🌲 5’ – 8’ tree: 50% OFF
🌲 9’ – 12’ tree: 25% OFF
🌲 13’ – 16’ tree: 10% OFF
Note: Trees over 16’ are not eligible for discounts.

So grab your scavenger hunting skills, and let the adventure begin! Happy hunting, and may the odds be in your favor! 🏆🌟

* Only one discount per family & tree. If you happen to find both items, please return only one to the office to claim your discount and leave the other item where it was

Hi All,

Opening weekend is next week November 23rd. We are also opening up weekday availability by appointments. Our available dates for appointments are on Mondays, Wednesday and Thursdays.

Please be sure to call or send us a message if you’d like to come during one of those days during the week. If you get an answering machine please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

On these days there is no extra assistance to haul trees or wrap so please come prepared. If you require assistance please plan to come on a weekend when we are fully staffed and have that capability.

As mentioned in a prior post we are raising prices this year. Due to the influx and demand for trees and the limited stock many farms have on top of general prices as we all know have also skyrocketed everywhere from the diesel we use to maintain the laneways to the purchasing of new tree saplings. Please be assured that we have been doing a lot of research to still give you the best possible price. The price list will be out soon so keep an eye out.

We look forward to seeing everyone this year, and we thank you all for your continued support.
