This simple Remembrance Day poppy craft is a wonderful way to introduce the meaning of this day to preschoolers, while also building speech and language skills.
• Boost Vocabulary – Talk about new words like poppy, remember, peace, respect.
• Practice Listening – Give short, clear instructions like “Cut the paper” or “Glue the pieces inside the poppy.”
• Fine Motor Meets Language – Snipping paper and gluing pieces gives lots of chances for conversation about colors, shapes, and actions. Try it here: https://ow.ly/XxnY50Xioe2
