Construction is moving right along, but that isn’t the only progress happening on our journey to a new home 🏡 While the walls go up, our team is getting ready to offer more of the specialized care that makes our space truly home.

One of the additions we are most excited about is our Snoezelen Room and Mobile Cart🫧 A Snoezelen environment is a multi-sensory space designed to offer residents with calming stimulation through sight, sound, and touch. By using visual fiber optics, bubble tubes, and massaging headphones, we can create a customized "escape" that reduces over-stimulation and enhances quality of life 💕

Thanks to the team for taking part in yesterday's training session!

Happy National Caregiver Day 💙 We're celebrating by kicking off a new partnership with local downtown staples Cosies and Richard's Coffeehouse. For the entire month of April, when you round up your order you'll be donating to our redevelopment! AND, only at Cosie's you can also purchase a coffee and pay-it-forward for a local long-term care worker... LTC heroes, stop by for your free coffee while vouchers are available ☕

🎭 Last week we had the incredible honour of welcoming a theatre group from St Lawrence College, to perform for our residents. ‘Delivered: Stories of the Past’, was written, directed and performed by the students and they were kind enough to share their performance with us! The residents enjoyed this special opportunity. Thank you to all involved! 🎭

A massive thank you to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 96 Brockville for their latest donation 💙 As we move forward with our redevelopment and community fundraising campaign, support from our local veterans and Legion members means the world to us.

Thank you for investing in the future of long-term care in Brockville!

Resident Council meets about once a month to discuss concerns, share updates, and stay connected. This month, residents enjoyed a special sneak peek of their future home through a slideshow created by staff. Things are coming along slowly but surely, and it’s exciting to see the progress! ✨
