What is individual therapy?
Life stressors, big or small, have a way of taking a toll on how we feel and think about ourselves, our lives and our relationships. Individual therapy is a type of psychotherapy that is provided by a trained mental health clinician to help address mental health difficulties. In the therapy session, challenges with emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships are typically targeted and addressed with the new tools and coping strategies acquired.
