Entrepreneurship isn’t the highlight reel people think it is.
Today it’s not about growth plans, new programs, or big dreams at Mint Pole & Aerials.
Today it’s ceiling tiles falling, water pouring through the roof, shop vac running, mops out, and hours spent trying to protect the space we’ve worked so hard to build while the landlord has been notified and we’re still waiting on the roofers to actually arrive.
No one talks enough about this part.
The part where you’re the owner, the cleaner, the emergency crew, the damage control team, and the one holding it together so your staff and students still have a safe place to come back to.
This life isn’t for the weak.
It’s for the resilient ones.
The ones who handle the crisis first and process it later.
The ones who stand in the middle of a flooded studio and still say we’ll figure it out.
I truly couldn’t keep going through days like this without my amazing husband beside me, holding me up, helping wherever needed, and reminding me why we keep pushing forward.
A huge thank you to my incredible staff who stepped in, checked on us, and helped however they could, and to the Stingers community for the support and kindness shown during this chaos. When things like this happen, that support means more than you know.
Resilience isn’t a motivational quote.
It’s soaked shoes, fallen ceiling tiles, and refusing to let your business drown.
We’ll dry it out.
We’ll protect what we can.
And we’ll keep moving forward, because that’s what we do. 💚
