As the Brooklin community continues to grow, we are committed to expanding our team to meet the needs of children and families.

We are excited to share that Ruth-Ellen Baker has joined our team of experienced therapists! 🎉

Ruth-Ellen uses play therapy and experiential/interactive approaches to her work with children, parents, couples, adults, and families. Children enjoy Ruth-Ellen's storytelling, puppetry, role play, games, visual art, music, movement, and fun attachment activities.

Ruth-Ellen assists people who have experienced trauma, abuse (physical, sexual, verbal/emotional), anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, attention deficits, parenting/family-related concerns, and the strong emotions that accompany these, couple-related struggles, and other issues in life.

Upon request, Christian-based work can be provided. Also, upon request, indigenous concerns can be addressed.

Ruth-Ellen is available for in-person sessions.

For the first time ever, we are offering a parenting group! 🎉🎉🎉

This 7 week, virtual group will teach you how to help your child organize their feelings, support your child’s exploration in the world, read and respond to your child’s cues, promote a secure relationship with your child, and develop more compassion and understanding of your own feelings. 🫶

The group will be led by the amazing Linda Brightling, a Registered Circle of Security Parenting Facilitator for the past 11 years, and Mom of two adult children.
