Measles is an extremely contagious disease and is spread easily through the air. If symptoms of measles do develop, stay home and call Health Link at 811 before visiting any healthcare facility or provider, including a family physician clinic or pharmacy.

Thank you! We would like to just take a moment to thank everyone-our dedicated staff, compassionate providers, and enthusiastic learners- for making our clinic not only a place of healing but also a place of learning.

Being a part of a teaching facility means that every day we contribute to something greater than ourselves. By guiding the next generation of medical professionals, we're helping to shape a future where high-quality, compassionate care continues to grow and thrive.

To our patients, thank you for your trust in allowing learners to be part of your care journey. Your openness is what makes this learning possible and meaningful. We regret to inform our patients that due to circumstances not in our control we will not be able to offer influenza vaccination at our clinic this year. Most pharmacies will be offering this service later in October.

We are pleased to be celebrating 20 years of providing medical care to the people of Brooks and the surrounding area! South Shore Medical Clinic officially opened its doors on June 21, 2004!

LOCUM Physician- A locum physician is a physician who fills a place in a clinic when another physician is away. These physicians serve a critical role in maintaining and improving access to medical professionals. Utilizing locum physicians is just one more way that South Shore Medical Clinic is working to provide timely access to our patients.
