This year, Lent and Ramadan overlap, a rare alignment that happens roughly once every 33 years.
Though rooted in different faith traditions, both emphasize reflection, generosity, discipline, and compassion. At the same time, many families are also celebrating Lunar (or Chinese) New Year, a season of renewal and hope.
Moments like this remind us that we often have more similarities than differences. Recognizing and appreciating the traditions of others does not diminish our own, but instead it strengthens the fabric of our shared community!
This is what the Canadian mosaic looks like: Different stories. Shared values. One community ❤️
