I’m a registered Orthotherapist; Masso/Kinesitherapist and a member of The Réseau des massothérapeutes professionnels du Québec. I offer massage therapy services in Brossard, QC (South Shore of Montreal). I’m committed to providing high-quality customized approach for each client. In addition to relaxation/stress relieve massage therapy, I use variety of techniques to target different problem areas and pains. Some of the complementary methods I use include: Vacuotherapy, neuro-proprioceptive taping, muscle and tissue decongestion. I also offer therapeutic techniques targeting specific sports injuries; and lymphatic drainage for post-surgery swelling. In addition, I’m a Reiki practitioner. The most powerful daily affirmations are those that are personal, specific, and authentic to you, rather than generic statements. Instead of simply repeating phrases, true power comes from choosing confirmations that resonate with your deeply held values and addressing your limiting beliefs.
How to create powerful affirmations?
To make confirmations truly powerful, tailor them to your unique needs and aspirations.

Be specific and realistic. An affirmation should be about a realistic, achievable change. For example, instead of "I am beautiful," try "I appreciate what my body does each day".

Identify limiting beliefs. Start by recognizing negative thoughts, such as "I'll never succeed" or "I'm not lovable".
Turn the negative into a positive. Rephrase limiting beliefs as affirmative statements in the present tense. For example, instead of "I won't be afraid to voice my opinion," say, "I speak up confidently when needed".

Add emotion. Make the statement more impactful by including feeling words. Instead of "I overcome all challenges," you could say, "I joyfully embrace new challenges and easily overcome them".
Use the present tense. Frame confirmations as if they are already true. This trains the brain to internalize the belief more effectively.

Alexithymia: Difficulty identifying and describing emotions can lead to them being trapped.
Invalidation: Dismissing or minimizing one's own feelings can prevent proper processing.

Massage therapy, especially techniques like deep tissue massage, can act as a catalyst for emotional release, helping individuals process and let go of emotional burdens and trauma stored in their bodies, leading to a sense of relief and well-being.

How Emotions Get "Trapped":
• Suppression:
When we suppress or avoid feeling certain emotions, they may not fully dissipate and can become stored in the body.
• Trauma:
Traumatic experiences can lead to the body holding onto the associated emotions as a protective mechanism.
• Chronic Stress:
Prolonged stress can overload the nervous system and contribute to the body holding onto tension and stress-related emotions.
• Mind-Body Disconnection:
When we are disconnected from our bodies or lack awareness of our physical sensations, we may be less likely to recognize and process emotions as they arise.

Vitamin C (or ascorbic acid) is essential for the development and healing of all body tissues. It's engaged in many body functions: formation of collagen, absorption of iron, proper operation of the immune system, wound healing, and the protection of cartilage, bones, and teeth. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant protecting against free radicals and toxic chemicals. Consuming more vitamin C helps fight inflammation; lower blood pressure; lower heart disease risk factors; reduce the risk of iron deficiency and more. The recommended daily amount for adults is 75 to 150 milligrams (mg) a day, depending on different factors. However, studies have shown that 500-1000 mg a day is needed to achieve improved health results. The maximum safe limit is 2,000 mg a day.
Fruits and vegetables are the best food sources of vitamin C: kiwi, lemon, papaya, strawberries, broccoli, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, spinach, cabbage, turnip greens, and other leafy greens.
