Resilience: the capacity to withstand or recover quickly from difficulties; toughness.

Today at training I had the chance to witness some incredible growth in our members. Not every moment on the agility course was perfect — but honestly, that’s where the best learning happens. What really stood out was the maturity these kids showed while handling their canine partners. When challenges came up, they stayed calm, worked through the moment, and finished the job.

One of the best moments of the day was when we gathered for a quick meeting and every dog was calm, cool, and collected. That doesn’t happen by accident — it’s the result of the time, patience, and effort these kids have been putting in.

A big thank you to the Dalmatian Club of Western Canada for donating snacks for our club today — we really appreciate the support!

Moments like today remind us that these young handlers aren’t just training dogs — they’re building confidence, patience, and resilience that will last a lifetime. 🐾

This Sunday our club was given an amazing opportunity to get some hands on grooming skills for our canines. We are so thankful to The Barking Lot in Drayton for taking the time to show our members so may great tips to keep their dogs happy and heathy. It was a great afternoon and fun was had by all.
