Last week, Daniela Brydges shared her story on Hypnotic Horizons.

Today, we’re continuing the conversation.

Because what she experienced goes far beyond weight loss.

Over the course of several years, Daniela released 270lbs…
but more importantly, she rebuilt her relationship with herself.

Her identity.
Her discipline.
Her sense of what’s possible.
And her ability to actually accept her own worth.

And that didn’t come from chasing quick results.

It came from committing to something deeper.

In this casual conversation, we’re unpacking:

• The difference between chasing an outcome vs committing to real change
• Why some transformations take time (and why that’s not a problem)
• What actually shifts when identity starts to change
• The role of trust, partnership, and consistency in lasting results
• What most people misunderstand about discipline

Daniela now works as a hypnotist herself, which gives her a perspective most people don’t have…
she’s lived it from both sides.

If you’ve ever felt like you “know what to do” but something isn’t shifting…
this conversation will likely land.

Join us live and be part of it.

Many women with MS made a quiet promise as children.
And their body is still keeping it.

The promise often sounded like:
I will be easy.
I will stay strong.
I will not need too much.
I will carry it so others do not.

That promise brought safety or belonging once.
So the nervous system kept it running.

Years later, the body is still honoring that agreement.
Even when it costs energy, health, and peace.

MS does not come out of nowhere.
It often appears in bodies that adapted brilliantly.

Gentle exercise:
If it feels safe, close your eyes.
If not, save this for later.

Sense your younger self in front of you.
Silently say:
“You do not have to carry this anymore.”

Notice any shift.
Take one slow breath.

That is not imagination.
That is your nervous system updating an old rule.

Like and follow if you are ready to stop living by patterns you never chose.

Save this if it resonated.

If you have MS, fatigue is not just being tired.

That is why it is so difficult to explain to others.

You can rest.
You can sleep.
You can pace carefully.

And still feel completely depleted.

MS fatigue is not only about low energy.
It is often about protection.

The nervous system slows the body down when it believes that is the safest response.

This perspective changes everything.

That is why I created a short mini series called
Listening to MS Fatigue Differently.

If it helps to finally feel understood,
comment LISTEN and I will share it with you.

Save this if it resonated.

If resting with MS makes you anxious or guilty, you’re not broken.

For many women, rest and pleasure once came with consequences.
Over time, the nervous system learned to stay on alert even in calm moments.

That constant vigilance drains energy.
It feeds fatigue.
It keeps symptoms from settling.

Rest is not laziness.
It is retraining the nervous system to feel safe again.

Your body can relearn that.

If this resonates,

Save this if it softened something for you.

If you live with MS and pushing through feels automatic, this matters.

Many of us were praised for being strong.
Rewarded for not needing help.
Loved for enduring discomfort.

Over time, the nervous system learned a rule.
Pain brought approval.
Rest brought risk.

The body remembers that.

MS symptoms often appear when the system is exhausted from running an old survival program that never shut off.

This is not a character flaw.
It is learned protection.

Awareness is where change begins.

If this resonated, save it.

MS fatigue doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong.

For many people, it’s the body prioritizing safety.
Even when you want to do more.
Even when you’re frustrated with yourself.

When you understand that, the self-judgment softens.
And something important shifts.

If you have MS and feel like your body resists change, this matters.

The nervous system prioritizes safety over comfort.

If letting go once led to harm, stress, or loss of control,
holding on became the safer choice.

Symptoms do not mean your body is against you.
They mean it learned something that has not been updated yet.

This reframes resistance from failure to protection.

When safety is restored,
the body stops bracing and begins to respond differently.

Save this if it resonated.
