It’s Monday and I’m feeling really thankful.

Thankful for the job I was able to create for myself… something that started as just an idea in my head years ago.

This video is from 2023, and it’s nice to go back sometimes and see the progress. The growth. The little changes that add up over time.

Nothing happened overnight. It was just showing up again and again, even on the days when I felt tired or unsure.

If you’re working toward something right now, I hope this is your reminder to keep going.

One day a few years from now, you’re going to look back and realize how far you’ve come. ✨

When I started my small business, my youngest daughter was only 4. She was still taking naps, and I built my business in between all the little moments of motherhood.

I would be working on orders and suddenly stop to make snacks.
Then it school drop offs and school pickups.
Sometimes even a trip back to the school because someone forgot something 😅

I packed orders while making dinner and replied to customers while tucking my daughter into bed. 😴

And the funny thing is… I still do this today.

Now it’s all that PLUS driving my older daughter to work, picking her up, running to dance and basketball practices, and squeezing my work in between their schedules.

But somehow, in between all of that, I still built a thriving business.

I’m sharing this because if you’re doing this too, you’re not alone.
Maybe your kids are little. Maybe they’re older. Maybe you’re just getting started.

Don’t let it stop you. Work around it.

I started my business because I wanted something of my own and because I wanted to be present for my kids.

And yes, the mom guilt is real. I felt it a lot in the beginning.

But I promise you, it gets better.
You will find your rhythm.
You will find your balance.

Just keep going.

And you know I love bows 🤣 In all realness though, have you ever been called a gatekeeper… when you’re really just protecting your work?

You didn’t “just find a supplier.”
You researched for months.
Ordered samples.
Wasted money.
Tested quality.
Stayed up late.

You didn’t “just pick a font.”
You downloaded hundreds.
Printed mockups.
Adjusted spacing.
Scrapped designs.
Refined your style.

What looks simple now took years of trial, error, and expensive lessons.

That’s not information you casually stumbled on.
That’s time.
That’s sacrifice.
That’s experience.

Protecting what you built is not selfish.
It’s wisdom.

There’s a difference between being helpful and giving away the blueprint you worked so hard to create. Right? 😘
